The 2020 Elan Ripstick 96 Skis with Bindings is the ultimate setup for advanced skiers who love to ski the entire mountain. As a result of Elan's continuing progression in the technological ski building world, the flotation and carving ability of the skis is off the charts. You'd be hard pressed to find a 96 mm underfoot ski that both floats and carves as good as the Ripstick 96 does. This bundle makes for an ideal all-mountain setup that can handle both deep powder days as well as those pesky dry spells that make carving experts out of all of us. Elan's tubelite wood core and Amphibio rocker technology are the backbones behind the genius of the Ripstick 96. They have taken 5 mm thick carbon tubes and inlaid them in the wood core running alongside the sidewalls. They stiffen the skis without adding a lot of weight, and also increase edge grip and rebound to a great degree. The Amphibio rocker makes a left and a right ski cool again. They've rockered the outside edges of the tips to make for a silky smooth ride through powder and soft snow. As a result, the turn initiation and completion is effortless and fun. The forgiving nature of the skis in fresh powder is remarkable given the hard snow performance capabilities. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
