The Blizzard Firebird SL race skis are an awesome option for competitive slalom racers who are looking to further their abilities in the sport of slalom ski racing. As the shortest turning and most precise event, the slalom requires the skis to be in perfect harmony with the skier, so it's important that it gets right. These skis in the 150 cm length generate a 12-meter turn radius, so they're pretty adept at making a short, carved turn. Thanks to this, you'll be able to make any gate at any time during the course of the race. If you're looking to get better and improve your slalom racing skills, or if you're looking to make a bunch of clean and round turns on the groomers, with fantastic edge grip and response, the Blizzard Firebird SL race skis are the way to go. Built with a wood core and two sheets of metal, these skis are stiff and burly and ready to respond to your input. Slalom is all about balance and timing, and these skis will allow you to grow in both endeavors. Narrow in the waist and quick from edge to edge, these skis can get from one turn to the next in no time flat, allowing you to nail each flush and rip through each and every gate, cross-blocking your way to the finish line where you are hopefully moving up on the finish list on your way to the top of the podium.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
